Diaper Bag Packing

I worked on packing the baby’s diaper bag today but I’m still missing a lot of stuff.  I referenced what should go in it on The Bump but some of the things are not needed until the baby is a little older.  A newborn doesn’t really need that much.  I also realized that buying a feminine/girly diaper bag is not the best idea since at times my husband may need it to take the baby out without me.  It’s too late now but I would suggest a gender neutral diaper bag to anyone shopping for one.  Joe says he’ll get his own but it might be a waste of money and resources to have two bags loaded up and ready to go at all times.

The diaper bag gets:
Diapers
Wipes
Changing Pad
Diaper Rash Cream
Hand Sanitizer
Extra Baby Clothes
Baby Blanket
Burp Cloth
Sunscreen
Plastic Bags
Tissues
Nasal Aspirator
Nail Clippers/Finger Nail Files
Nursing Cover
Nursing Pads
Mini First Aid Kit
Emergency Contacts Card
Baby Sling (if you want to use one, I’m not sure if I will but I got one for free)
Bottle With Milk (after breastfeeding is established and I’ve started pumping)
Pacifier (after breastfeeding is established)
Toy (once child is old enough for one)
